Legal requirements for your wedding
In Grenada the law requires that the wedding couple must be resident in Grenada for three days, including weekends and public holidays, before applying for a license. No blood or medical tests are required for marriages in Grenada.

You will need original or court certified copies of the following for both parties:
Valid passports
• Birth certificates must also be hand carried to be presented
• If you never have been married, a letter of non-marriage is required. It should contain confirmation from Priest/Solicitor or local Registrar containing their letterhead, signed, sealed, that you have not been married before.
• If divorced, a degree absolute.
• If widowed, a death certificate and previous marriage certificate.
• Legal proof if your name has been changed by Deed Poll
• If under the age of 21, written parental consent by way of an affidavit from a Lawyer or Notary Public.


All documents must be in English and Court Certified.
